Answer
Bandwidth:-
Bandwidth means amount of data transferred in a fixed time period. Generally bandwidth stated in bps (bits per second), kbps (kilobits per second), or mbps (megabits per second). Web hosting companies usually have different bandwidth plan for their clients. You have to play within a limited bandwidth and if cross that limit you will be charge for over usage or they will make your site down.
The costing of your hosting plan varies on the usage of bandwidth per month. If you run a commercial site you don’t need much bandwidth. Your bandwidth usage goes high if you site contain more files to download or number of user that visit your site regularly. Ultimately if site have less html pages, less images, and less files to download you need small amount of bandwidth.
Disk Space:-
Disk space is basically amount of data store on the server of your hosting provider. Web hosting company allocate some amount of space to store data like files, directories, email message, web pages, images, etc. Hosting provider give you certain amount of space depends on your plan and whenever it require you can modify your plan for more disk space.
Requirement of disk space depends on the file size of your web site. If web site has only text content your requirement for disk space will be very less but if your site contain flash, images, media files, animation, etc your disk space requirement will be more and also your bandwidth. To reduce your file size you need to compress it before using them.
