Bandwidth
Bandwidth means data transmitted over a communication channel in a fixed time. It is usually expressed in bits per second (bps) or Million of bits per second (MBPS). Bandwidth shows how fast the data transmitted to your computer. If you have higher bandwidth time for data transmission will be less and vice versa.
Baud
Baud represents the speed of modem and used to know how many bits it can send or receive per second. Baud also called Bits per second. For example, if a modem is rated at 9600 baud we can say that it is capable of transmitting data at a rate of 9600 bits per second.
Binhex
A file format that used to convert binary files into ASCII files.
Bit
A bit consist of two digits, either 0 or 1, also known as on and off. Bit is a smallest unit of data that a computer can hold. Combination of 8 bits called bytes.
Browser
Browser is used to accesses the World Wide Web (www) with the all information available on the Internet. It can read hypertext and display graphics, multimedia information, including video and sound.
Byte
A group of 8 bits is called Byte.
